A Quick OnePlus Nord 2 Review

The OnePlus Nord series is off to a flying start in the smartphone world, but is it the smartphone that you may be looking for? The good news is that the company has priced its product very reasonably – so reasonably in fact that many will find it difficult to believe. The phone costs just under $300 and is packed with features that would set any other smartphone from this manufacturer apart. The good news is that aside from a few minor drawbacks, the OnePlus brand name is synonymous with great value for money. OnePlus Nord 2

BUT WHAT OF THE FEATURES? The OnePlus brand has been responsible for quite a few high-quality smartphones over the past few years, so it should come as no surprise that the company is back with another top smartphone in the Nord series. The good news is that this second smartphone in the series manages to combine the best elements from previous devices in the range. The excellent use of a powerful yet understated dual-core processor paired with Adreno-style Adreno-PIT chip means that the device will never run out of battery life. The excellent sound capabilities also help to ensure that your conversations with your friends and colleagues are never disrupted, and the impressive display size of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G means that you won’t have to miss out on any of the sharp details that will come into play when you read your daily dose of news.

BUT WAIT, THEN WHAT OF THE PROBLEMS? Well, first and foremost the fact that the handset is only available from the ODEON store means that those outside of the company can only get the handset for a limited time. This also means that there aren’t many review sites available for the handset, nor any links to third-party online stores where people may buy the phone. This could well be a problem, however one that can easily be remedied. The one thing that we know for sure though is that the chipset inside the OnePlus Nord 2 isn’t the same one used in the iPhone 4, so there will be no shortage of information about the phone on the web. The best way to find out what’s inside is to take a look at some of the many professional reviews that can be found online.

BUT WHEN AM I GONE? Just as the iPhone can last for an extremely long time before needing a replacement, the OnePlus Nord 2 can last a similarly long time if it is properly taken care of. There’s nothing worse than buying a smartphone that you think will last for years and then realising that after a few months it simply can’t even make a call. Fortunately, the solution to this problem is quite simple. The one thing that phone purists will say is to clean the phone with a tissue every few weeks but this is not a remedy for what ails the phone – it is just a way of life. If you want to prolong the life of your handset, then you should try to clean it with mediatek.

This is not some kind of advanced technology so it is understandable that most people would be reluctant to try it. The one plus with the device, however, is that you can use it in conjunction with an iPhone. It also supports HSDPA and has access to all the features that you would find on the iPhone, including the multi-tasking functionality, the notification centre, fast application launch and the 90 hz refresh rate. The one feature that is likely to put off users of the device is the lack of a physical keyboard, but it really is easy to work around.

There are a number of different things that you can do to make the most of the device. You can download the free Software Manager that comes with the device and use it to optimize settings on your own. You can also download a number of official Google applications, many of which have been adapted to run on the Android Kit Kat 4.4 operating system. Some of these apps include Google Now and the Google Now Launcher, which will provide you with weather reports, flight times and traffic information. The last major app that you should get from the store is the Google Application, which is capable of turning your HTCox into a touch screen digital clock.
